Shankar Babu assumes charge as VPA Secy

Visakhapatnam: Mormugao official M Shankar Babu has assumed charge as Secretary of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) on Friday. Prior to joining VPA, Shankar Babu served as Secretary at the Mormugao Port Authority in Goa. He has been transferred and posted as Secretary, VPA by the Ministry for Ports, Shipping & Waterways. Before assuming charge, Shankar Babu paid a courtesy meet with Roshni Aparanji Korati, Deputy Chairperson, VPA. Heads of Departments, senior officials, and employees of VPA extended a warm welcome to Shankar Babu by presenting bouquets and conveying their best wishes.
